Software Engineer / Software Developer

As a RoviSys Software Engineer you will work on exciting software projects directly with our clients. Our collaborative environment enables you to solve challenging problems. You will work with intelligent, talented and dedicated people to advance software products and services. Our Software Engineers rely on their strong computer background to address technology decisions, data management, scalability, security and user interface design. RoviSys software development projects range from mobile applications providing business intelligence to globally scaled solutions managing every aspect of manufacturing operations and control.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has excellent communication skills, and a strong orientation to serving our customers.

Description:

  • Learn from seasoned software development professionals with decades of experience
  • Interview clients to identify and clearly document user requirements
  • Architect software solutions using the appropriate technologies
  • Develop quality code in accordance with established RoviSys and client standards

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Self-motivated with a passion for programming
  • Object oriented knowledge and skills
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • US Citizen or permanent US resident

Additional Qualifications (desired):

  • Programming experience in Microsoft .NET, Microsoft Server 2003/2008, Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7
  • Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008, Oracle
  • Programming experience in C++, C#, VB, ASP.NET, JAVA
  • Experience with mobile apps and network design
  • Co-op experience
