Ohio industrial energy efficiency grants
The Ohio Department of Development’s
Office of Energy Efficiency (OEE) awards
grants for energy efficiency projects
in commercial and industrial facilities within the state. Qualifying
projects currently can receive up to 10 percent of the project value,
with a cap of $50,000.
Incentive funds are limited. Qualifying applications will be funded
until all program funds are awarded. Applicants will be required to
complete an
EnVinta diagnostic assessment
and contract for follow-up activities promoting energy plan development
and technical assessment.
Applicants are encouraged to finance the balance of the project cost
using an Energy Loan Fund (ELF) linked deposit or direct loan.
Ohio energy loan funds
In cooperation with private lenders, ODOD's Office of Energy
Efficiency also facilitates reduced interest loans which qualified Ohio
businesses and institutions can use to reduce energy costs, manage
energy use and install renewable energy technologies.
