Legacy migration from Bailey, Fisher, VMS and more

We know legacy DCS and have been migrating them since our founding in 1989. Some of our staff designed these systems before coming to RoviSys. We’ve also developed interface software and cables that enable phased migrations and maintaining field wiring and tuning parameters and gaining all benefits of current controls.

We work with Bailey, Fisher, Westinghouse, VMS and other legacy DCS systems, migrating them to Rockwell, Siemens, Modicom, Emerson and other platforms. We support applications developed in FORTRAN, PL/1, Pascal and Basic. We typically recommend replacing outdated VMS code with C or C++ for OpenVMS.

The key to any migration is reducing downtime. We work closely with clients to develop and implement cutover and startup plans.

Boiler and steam generation

Powerhouse automation services include providing controls for steam to turbo conversions, integration of multi-fuel boilers and for electrical steam generation with turbines attached.
