(Aurora, OH) The RoviSys Company, one of the largest independent manufacturing automation and information systems integrators in North America, is adding a sales and systems engineering facility outside of Boston to support life sciences and process control clients in the northeastern United States.
The company expects initial staffing in New England to grow to more than a dozen employees, including local hires. Massachusetts resident Peter Fox, who has two decades experience in the life sciences industry, has been hired as director of sales for New England.
"We make it possible for life sciences manufacturers to achieve their production automation and information integration objectives with confidence by taking responsibility for and successful completing projects," said John Turk, director of life sciences services at RoviSys. “Opening this facility enables us to accelerate how we accomplish this for clients in the Northeast.”
RoviSys was founded in 1989 and began doing work for life sciences companies 15 years ago. In addition to headquarters in northeast Ohio, the company now has office and support facilities in North Carolina, Massachusetts and Singapore.
Turk said the company has grown by combining substantial expertise and resources and strong project management and execution capabilities with a flexible approach to meeting client needs and wants. “As an independent company, we work to engineer and implement projects in the way that best meets our clients’ needs.”
While RoviSys successfully implement projects in many areas of North America and the world far from its current offices, Turk said a regional presence reinforces the company’s commitment to providing highly-responsive services. The company does not release the names of its life sciences clients, he said.
