RoviSys clients recognize the importance of the design and performance of automated control systems in achieving maximum efficiency of the combustion process. At RoviSys, control systems are designed using the best combination of ISA/NFPA recommended schemes, boiler manufacturer recommendations and good old-fashioned industry experience.

But as equipment wears and environmental conditions change, the client must have the ability to proactively recognize efficiency changes and losses in their boilers. RoviSys achieves this by integrating various data archiving and reporting packages with the control system in order to provide the client with a window into their own system's performance.

RoviSys' position as an approved integrator of the OSISoft PI Real-Time Performance Management system has enabled RoviSys to utilize PI systems to perform heat rate calculations and have provided the calculated data as feedback into the combustion system to ensure that the units are performing at their peak efficiency.

Many RoviSys Power and Energy clients have utilized the accumulated combustion expertise at RoviSys to have complete audits performed on their installed controls and instrumentation architectures. These studies are performed on-site with the client with the end result being a documented report provided by RoviSys that identifies recommended areas of improvement in the combustion system, suggested vendor solutions, and estimated return on investments to complete the upgrades.
