As a young electrical engineering co-op from RIT, I began my career at Bailey Controls in Cleveland. I spent the next decade climbing through the leadership ranks; accumulating industrial automation experience, a couple graduate degrees, and 15 patents. Market forces, rapid technological change, and my quest for opportunity resulted in our entrance into the emerging market of control system integration.

I founded RoviSys in 1989 with great optimism, little sales experience, and no clients, but I’ve been rewarded with a few of the most memorable years of my life. After gaining a foothold in the industry, RoviSys has organically grown every year and now has thousands of employees throughout our global locations. Our laser focus on the client's needs, application expertise in an ever expanding list of served industries, commitment to be an independent solution provider, and exceptional dedicated staff has propelled our journey. Culture starts at the top; we don't spend much time accumulating awards or accolades… instead we work on building reputation with our clients.

RoviSys is a privately held company governed by a Board of Directors. Our dedication to customer enrichment, talented employees, and fiscal strength are key factors in RoviSys becoming one of the largest independent automation and information integrators. We are committed to serving our expanding client base as an independent entity.

In 2006, as a soon-to-be graduate from the University of Toledo, I found RoviSys and immediately recognized a company where I could build a meaningful and long-term career. Meeting the team and learning about the work, it was clear this was an organization built on opportunity, growth, and shared success.

My early years as an automation engineer gave me the chance to work on complex and innovative projects around the world. During those first six years, I traveled extensively and took on advancing responsibilities in the display glass industry, helping lead projects across time zones in North America and Asia. In 2012, I joined the management team and soon took on responsibility for some of our largest building automation projects. In 2015, I began leading the RoviSys Life Sciences business unit. During the next decade, our team expanded into new regions including California and Michigan, delivered significant growth, and established RoviSys as a trusted partner to leading pharma and biotech organizations around the world.

Today I serve as Co-President of RoviSys. I am energized by the opportunity to help shape the continued growth of our company, strengthen our culture, and support our teams as they deliver meaningful solutions for our customers. I am proud of the work we do and the impact our systems have on helping customers achieve their missions. The shared satisfaction among our teams when we deliver high-quality results is unmatched.

Outside of work, I enjoy an active lifestyle and love spending time with family and friends. You’ll often find me outdoors biking, backpacking, snowboarding, or enjoying the water.

In December 2003, I joined RoviSys as an engineering co-op while studying at Ohio University.  I was inexperienced, eager to learn, and looking to understand where I might fit within the vast landscape of the engineering industry. At that time, RoviSys was a smaller organization with a strong entrepreneurial drive and a culture that championed hard work, shared success, and exceptional client service. It didn’t take long for me to recognize that this was where I wanted to build my career. In 2005, I formally joined RoviSys full time, beginning a professional journey shaped by continuous growth, compelling projects, and meaningful leadership opportunities.

Early in my career, I worked across a wide range of projects that differed in size, complexity, and industry. I supported system validation for pharmaceutical clients, designed a large-scale batch system for a greenfield facility in Singapore, and developed an advanced safety system for a steel facility in Canada. These diverse experiences provided a broad perspective and established a strong foundation that continues to shape my work today. In 2012, I shifted from a technical role into a management position, joining the RoviSys leadership team, focused on strengthening our position in the chemicals industry and fostering staff growth and development. Over the next 13 years, I led multiple business units, drove growth in our chemicals and water/wastewater markets, and advanced our regional operations in Chicago.

Today I am privileged to serve as Co-President of RoviSys, and I continue to believe deeply in our rapidly expanding organization. We have grown significantly since my early days as a co-op, yet the entrepreneurial spirit that first drew me in remains a defining part of who we are. It continues to show up in our commitment to growth, our focus on exceptional client service, and the hard-working culture that has shaped this company from the beginning. With the talented teams we have in place today, the possibilities for what we can achieve truly feels limitless.

I joined RoviSys shortly after graduating from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, eager for a challenging career in the automation industry and looking for opportunities to experience new cultures. Before long, I found myself in Taiwan for my first (of many) control system start-ups with a customer expanding their production capacity throughout Asia.

Splitting my time between Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, continued for three more years, and I realized that a more permanent position in Asia was vital to grow and support RoviSys operations. Moving across the world presents many challenges, but the chance to work with colleagues and business partners throughout the Asia Pacific region while gaining exposure to internal and international operations was an exceptional opportunity.

Since 2012 I have overseen continuous growth as RoviSys Asia expands our footprint throughout the Asia-Pacific region. My role as President, Asia Pacific requires me leading our organization across many countries and many cultures, which is exactly what the college graduate was searching for. I’m rewarded daily, and have learned that no matter the location, language, cuisine or climate, a corporate culture with a strong focus on employee empowerment, customer satisfaction and high quality results is something that is appreciated universally.

As a Penn State graduate, I began my career in engineering with energy and passion, and haven’t looked back. Fortunately, RoviSys is an organization that shared my initial excitement and has provided growth opportunities for my career and personal life in ways that I had never imagined.

I have represented RoviSys as a new graduate, become the youngest management team member, led the opening of the first RoviSys regional office (Holly Springs, NC), launched RoviSys Building Technologies, and overseen entry into European markets. Along the way I met my wife on project assignment, earned an M.B.A. , and turned a colleague into a friend and business partner.

I’m proud of these accomplishments, and look forward to new challenges each day, but my story is not unique. The RoviSys family of companies is full of talented engineers and programmers who are empowered and driven to do what is best for every customer, fair for RoviSys and respectful to the team. I’m a systems integration leader with more than two decades of experience driving innovative automation solutions across highly regulated and mission-critical industries. My career began with a double major in engineering from NC State University and a leap to RoviSys right out of school—a company whose authenticity and technical excellence stood out from the start. It’s the only place I’ve ever worked, and the collaborative, purpose-driven culture here has shaped every step of my professional journey.

I’ve progressed from hands-on engineering roles in our pharmaceutical division to leading multidisciplinary teams and large-scale programs in power, energy, and now federal infrastructure. Today, I oversee RoviSys Federal Solutions, a business dedicated to helping government agencies modernize operations and improve reliability through advanced automation and integration technologies.

My experience spans the full project lifecycle—design, PLC programming, installation, commissioning, subcontractor coordination, and strategic client engagement. That foundation enables me to lead with both technical fluency and business insight, always prioritizing what’s best and right for our clients. I’m particularly focused on enabling operational excellence through workflow optimization, responsible AI adoption, and knowledge transfer that empowers future engineering leaders.

I live in Holly Springs, North Carolina, and support clients across the U.S. and beyond. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me on the golf course, traveling with family, or relaxing with our laid-back black Aussie shepherd.
